The completely renewed and renovated spectacular location BOOTSHAUS offers now not only brand-new technical equipment such as light and sound it also offers much more space and you won´t have to worry about long lines - neither at the entrance nor at the coatcheck. COCK-PIT will offer you this time two completely separate dance floors with stunning new music, fantastic lightshows, acts and of course the best sound system avaiable - Function1 on the main floor and on the retro floor an 80‘s disco-club with dance classics, remixes and charts presented by Thomas William! There will be a snack shack all night long in the spacious, heated outside area which is also the smoking area, and an atm / cash-machine in the entrance hall as well as cigarette machines. Additionally, free bus-shuttles run all night long every 20 min. from COX / BONERS (Mühlenbach / Corner Mathiasstrasse) and also GLORIA (Apostelnstrasse) which will take you back and forth to the location. From the train station in Cologne-Deutz there will be another bus-shuttle provided by BOOTSHAUS itself. But of course there is ample parking right in front of the venue as well as very close by. And even a cab / taxi ride is very affordable, from COX / BONERS around 8€, from GLORIA about 12€ - especially if you split it with a few guys. COCK-PIT präsentiert diesmal auf zwei komplett voneinander getrennten, aber dennoch durch das großzügige Foyer miteinander verbundenen Räumen auf dem einen Floor die neueste und angesagteste Musik im Dancebereich sowie unglaubliche neue Lichtshows, Acts und selbstverständlich das derzeit beste auf dem Markt erhältliche Soundsystem Function 1 auf dem Hauptfloor während der Retro-Floor ganz so wie Disco Club in den 1980ern mit bekannten Dance Classic, Remixen und Chartstürmern, dargeboten von Thomas William, aufwartet. Für das leibliche Wohl ist ebenfalls gesorgt, in dem großen beheiztem Aussenbereich (der gleichzeitig Raucherbereich ist) wird es die ganze Nacht durch einen Imbissstand geben um bei Energiemangel wieder für Nachschub zu sorgen. Sollte Geldmangel ein Problem sein gibt es im Foyer einen Geldautomaten und natürlich Zigarettenautomaten. Und damit die Besucher es bequem haben und nicht über Hin- und Rückfahrt nachdenken müssen werden kostenfreie Shuttle-Busse die ganze Nacht durch zum Bootshaus im 20 Minuten Takt vom COX / BONERS (Mathiasstr. / Ecke Mühlenbach) und GLORIA (Apostelnstr.) hin- und zurückfahren. Vom Deutzer Bahnhof gibt es einen Hauseigenen Shuttle Service. Es stehen jedoch auch genügend Parkplätze direkt vor der Location sowie in unmittelbarer Umgebung zur Verfügung und die Taxifahrt ist mit ca. 8,-€ vom Heumarkt (ca. 12,-€ vom Neumarkt) aus ebenfalls erschwinglich - erst recht wenn man sich ein Taxi teilt.
